Brett DiNovi & Associates

Brett DiNovi & Associates (BDA) is one of the largest ABA providers on the East Coast, with annual revenue in the multi millions, and hundreds of staff throughout NJ, DE, NY, & Eastern PA.  It shouldn’t come as any surprise, then, that the CEO, Brett DiNovi, is a very busy man tasked with overseeing company-wide operations and ensuring a healthy strategic growth trajectory for the future.

In Episode 3 of Behavioral Science World, we follow Brett and his team, through a typical day at the office, which offers a glimpse into the inner workings of the company. At noon every Monday, each member of the executive team presents data on the performance of their departments, both in terms of service quality and financials.  During each presentation, we see how BDA leaders ask very specific questions to extract likely causal relationships impacting Key Performance Indicators.

The meetings also allow Brett to “check the temperature” of the group culture across its diverse business operations.  If a conflict arises, Brett prefers to give people the benefit of the doubt.  As a business owner, he lives by the Golden Rule – treat others as you would like to be treated.

To see more of the inner workings of BDA, including a glimpse into their hiring process, be sure to check out the full video, and to subscribe to Brett DiNovi’s YouTube channel.  Also, be sure to subscribe to bSci21 via email to receive the latest articles directly to your inbox!
